Evelyn Tubb (Soprano) John Hancorn (Baritone), Michael Fields (Lute and Theorbo) and David Wright (Organ and Harpsichord) will give a distinctive and varied performance of instrumental and choral works by Purcell, Lawes, Eccles and others.

Recent performances include

Sussex Baroque Players
appeared with the East Sussex Bach Choir on Saturday 15th December 2007 for  a performance of  Handel's Messiah in St John sub Castro Church, Lewes.

Sussex Classical Players played Mozart's Divertimento for Strings  and accompanied the East Sussex Bach Choir on March Ist 2008 in a performance of Mozart's Solemn Vespers and Schubert's Mass in G in Lewes Town Hall.

Sussex Baroque is arranging a concert series in the near future and is available for concerts and festival bookings. 

Repertoire includes: 
Instrumental and choral music by Purcell, Bach, Buxtehude, Schutz, Monteverdi, Vivaldi, Handel, Mozart and more, including recent works by contemporary composers.

Ensembles include: Violins, lute and viola da gamba; solo cantatas with strings and continuo; baroque  orchestra,  vocal soloists  (and  chamber  choir);  clarinet  quintet;  classical  ensemble with  piano, fortepiano  or  chamber  organ; semi-staged masques and early music theatre etc.
